Last week I began a photography class in the hopes of learning some new techniques for jewelry pictures. Although I knew that was not the focus of the class I assumed I could extrapulate general learning to achieve my goal.
What a fun class that allows me to interact with hundreds of other photographers, learn new techniques and expand my creativity while being in the comfort of my home.
I am using the lay-flat technique in my photos below to display some bead weaving pieces in shades of pink. The photo is taken from above and incorporates different textures and placement to achieve a pleasing photo from a slightly different perspective.
The possibilities are endless for this very creative exercise...I will definitely use this again.
This class has been so interesting and informative I am excited about the things to come. Hopefully, better jewelry pictures time will tell ;-) Jane
