In review 2015 was a good year for Three Beading Hearts. After our Holiday show both Jane and I like to look over what we accomplished during the previous year and then set new goals moving forward. We are always surprised to see how much we did accomplish.
We participated in three shows outside of our annual show. The first was the "Fool for Art" show in April which is sponsored by J Sargent Reynolds Community College. Next was our second year with the Gallery at First Unitarian Church in September, and the final was my participation in the Cross Ridge holiday show in November. This local community show was fun and introduced us to new folks in the Henrico area.
Jane used her connections to get us introduced to a women's dress shop in Naples and we consigned some lovely pieces in Florida last winter and summer. Then there was our annual Holiday show at Jane's home. We both so look forward to seeing who will come and their reaction to our work, and we had a wonderful turnout this year.
We both took classes to keep us updated on the latest trends and to polish our skill sets. And last but not least we have two groups of fellow bead lovers that meet three times a year. The Beady Eyed Ladies and the IBBC (Itty Bitty Bead Club). We have great bead challenges and if you follow this blog you know that we try to post the results after our meetings. Until next time, L.
