Red Dawn

Bracelets seemed to be the theme for this summer challenge.



These lovely matte finished red bead were given to each of us as our summer challenge.  

In May our bead challenge group had to work with these red fiberglass like beads. The results were amazing. Jane with her love for polymer clay  designed a pendent where she was able to incorporate the red beads in the chain portion of the necklace. Well done. (Upper left corner)
I made the 5 strand memory wire bracelet with black, white, and the red beads. I added some silver charms for dimension. (Upper right corner)

The rest of the group saw these beads in bracelets as well. Two bracelets were strung with tan beads and gold spacers. Another two ladies worked the beads into macrame pieces, and I must say the beads did lend themselves well to the cord.

For our next challenge we were all given a pendent, should be interesting. Can't wait to see what October (our next date) will bring to us. L.
