Copper is very popular now driven more than likely by the high costs of gold and silver. When trying to perfect a new technique copper is great to practice with. I took a class in May with Denise called Metal Etching at our favorite "Fandangle Bead Store". I do not like working with liquids. I am very fearful of getting burned or just plain making a mess so this technique was very intimidating for me. However Denise made us feel very comfortable. She made the etching solution herself and was very patient in showing us that there are no mistakes just new and better designs than anticipated. Here are a few of my first attempts. I must say I liked the process and I think I will make some jewelry pieces with these components. I highly recommend this class. Linda
