June Bead Challenge

At our last bead challenge in January we distributed a mixture of red and coral beads. When we met for our June get together here is what was created.

Jane did this red and crystal bead bracelet. She also incorporated small black beads that pair handsomely and give the perfect accent.

In this beautiful necklace Ann added a pendent piece to her red and black mix. No symmetry to the beads makes this necklace good for dress or casual.
Kim took her challenge beads and created a red and crystal necklace that she highlighted with small woven black seed beads. This made her piece very unique and inspiring.

Lavonne used chain to give her coral beads added length. The current trend is to have longer necklaces so this piece is very modern. At Three Beading Hearts we often get asked to make matching earrings so Lavonne's earrings make a perfect set for her collection.

Kim was our over achiever this time when she added another necklace to her presentation. Adding beads as dangles gives this two strand necklace a look of substance. Well done Kim.

Linda made wire bails for her beads and added them to gold chain as charms. Both the bracelet and the earrings have tiny gold dragonflies for added interest.

Deb's bracelet and earrings have a neat uniformed look, one which is perfect for a gift. Deb and Lavonne gave us our beads for the next challenge in October at Ann's house. We are all looking forward to this "Hollowed" date.

  1. I love your jewelry. What shows do you participate in locally? I have seen some great jewelry at both the Bon Air Artists Assn show and UofR's Art Around The Lake.
