We started 2010 off with a Bead Challenge which included several earth toned ceramic beads supplied by LaVonne. The evening was festive and missing only one thing - our dear friend Debra who was off on a business trip. As you can see we chose several different approaches to using the beads...Linda highlighted her chain creation with a sting of the beads and then took several individual beads and scattered them throughout the piece to create a stunning double strand necklace. Jane also made a necklace but she created a choker that was a little more rustic looking while LaVonne chose to make a lovely bracelet using some knotting and tying techniques to jazz up the design.
The evening was shared with good friends Ann and Kim who added a whole new level of creativity and perspective. ...j
