What is Polymer Clay?

The basic ingredient of polymer clay is polyvinyl chloride - we know it as PVC. It also contains inert fillers and a plasticizer that allows the microscopic chains of PVC molecules to slide over each other at room temperature but lock onto each other when heated, creating a strong, durable product.

OUR STORY

THREE BEADING HEARTS: It all began back in 2003 when a dear friend introduced us to beading and our first project was a simple pair of earrings. Little did we know that our personal passion for the craft would take over and soon we were attending a wide variety of classes allowing us to explore our creative and artistic abilities. Each handmade piece brings us joy and is "one of a kind" or a limited edition. After making more jewelry than we could wear and still wanting to create different pieces, we decided to create our business called Three Beading Hearts. We chose this name because a little bit of our heart is in every piece and a portion of each sale is donated to the American Heart Association to support the elimination of heart disease. So each time you make a purchase you become the "third beading heart" and partner with us to support the AHA in finding a cure for heart disease.
